NSS 2020-21

As many as 200 volunteers have enrolled themselves this year in the two units for NSS sanctioned by the State NSS Cell of Higher Education Department, Chandigarh. The students are a true embodiment of the NSS motto Not Me But You  and works selflessly and whole heartedly for betterment of society under the able guidance of their mentor NSS programme officers, Mrs. Ritu Nandwani and Mrs. Reetu. Here are glimpse of some of the activities undertaken by our NSS brigade:

The college NSS Cell comprising of 200 volunteers undertook a number of activities under the guidance of their mentor NSS programme officers, Mrs. RITU NANDWANI & Mrs. REETU. • During the session volunteers participated in many activities like Patriotic Singing, Tree Plantation, Kite making, Slogan writing, Cleanliness Drives etc. A week long special NSS Camp was organized at the college from 9th to 15th February 2021. Number of activities like Yoga Session, Lectures on First Aid & Covid-19, Road Safety by traffic police department, Awareness Campaign, Nukkad Natak, etc. were organized at adopted village.

Red Ribbon Club under the State AIDS Control Society is being run in the college headed by Mrs. Nitu Rana with aim to spread awareness about the deadly disease specially focusing the youthand vulnerable sections of the society. They organised street plays, lectures and rallies sensitizing the masses on the issue.
